Judge Shannon Bacon was a founding board member of Emerge New Mexico and has been very active in the Albuquerque community.

Early in Deborah's career as a physical therapist, she developed a passion for home and community-based services and patient autonomy in decision-making. This prompted her to increasingly focus her work in healthcare administration, to attend law school to further her interests in health policy and advocacy and to eventually accept an appointment as Cabinet Secretary for the Department of Aging.

Willow Misty Parks is a true Emerge success story.  She was elected Probate Judge in Bernalillo County in 2010.

Linda Trujillo was elected to the Santa Fe School Board in 2011, and was a member of the Emerge Class of 2010.  She is our very first Alumna to serve on a School Board.

Beatrice Brickhouse began her public service career as an officer in the United States Army.  On January 2, 2009, Judge Brickhouse was appointed to the Second Judicial District Court, Civil Division, in Bernalillo County.  She was re-elected in 2010.

On the county commission, Roxanne works to improve quality of life through economic development and expansion of alternative energy resources.

Governor Bill Richardson announced the appointment of Christina P. Argyres, of Albuquerque, to the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court, Division IX, on June 24, 2010.
